Consign: How to Prepare Your Items

How it Works

–We accept only the highest quality, brand name merchandise for consignment.

–When you bring in your items, Savvy Seconds will select based on our customer  preferences. Understand that we consign based on customer buying patterns. Sometimes there will be items we cannot sell, please do not be upset.   In those circumstances we donate to Wardrobe for Opportunity  and Shepherd's Gate.

–Appointments are necessary for drop-off and pick-up of merchandise

–We accept items on a seasonal basis

–First time consignors will have a 5-item minimum and a 20-item maximum

–Apparel must be new or next to perfect condition, dry-cleaned or pressed and on hangers (will be returned to you after intake).

–We also accept designer purses (authentic only), shoes, belts, scarves and accessories.

–Apparel must be current in style within the past two to three seasons. We will not accept merchandise with any stains, broken zippers/snaps or missing buttons.

–Consignor split is 60/40 based on the final selling price of each item.

–Consignor checks will be mailed during the first week of every month. Cash payouts are not available on a drop-in basis.

–Computerized inventory sheets, including dates items are placed on floor, are provided to consignors upon acceptance of merchandise.

–Apparel will be priced for resale at approximately 50%-60% off original retail price, depending on the condition and desirability of the item.

–Items consigned will remain on the store floor for 60 days. It is the consignor's responsibility to pick up any unsold items within one week of the consignment expiration. Otherwise, the items left will be automatically donated. Should consignors wish to donate, we will provide donation claim forms.

–Savvy Seconds reserves the right to run special promotions at the company's discretion to expedite sales.

–Consignors may check the status of their account via the www.myresaleweb.com website.

–All merchandise is left at your own risk. Unfortunately, Savvy Seconds cannot be responsible for items that are lost, damaged or stolen.

–Any items, which are damaged, may be reduced at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse service.
